New! Pink bento box from Really Useful Stuff

The Bento Box range from Really Useful Stuff is a bpa free multi-compartment bento box. The lid of the bento is designed to hug each compartment making them leakproof for yoghurts and dips, just not liquid. The inner tray is made from bpa free tritan plastic and is both microwave and top rack dishwasher safe. The lid remains permanently attached to the bento so it can't be lost at school.

New to the range for the second half of this year is an update to the pink bento box. The plastic outer is now a darker pink colour, with the clips that hold it closed being changed to white. These colours are quite lovely and we feel a great improvement on the original pink box.  The inner remains a clear plastic insert.

The total volume of the lunch box is just over 1 litre in capacity (or 4 cups), so it's large enough to hold enough food for a full meal. Each compartment is 4cm deep, which is ample room for most snacks, sandwich squares and more. Full measurements of each compartment are listed below. The little round compartment is suitable for thick liquids like yoghurt but not for runny liquids. When hemp seeds become legal as a food next month, it would be the perfect place to pop some seeds to sprinkle over a salad and they'd stay nice and crunchy for you.

The Bento is available in two different configurations, a 6 compartment bento and a 4 compartment bento suitable for storing a whole sandwich and can either be purchased on its own or in a pack with a snugly fitting insulated lunch bag and ice pack included.

The new pink bento can also be purchased in a package with neoprene insulated lunch bag & ice pack. The bags continue the dark pink and white colour scheme through to the pattern on the bag.

The insulated lunch bag also has a handy pouch at the front to store your bamboo or stainless steel travel cutlery set or a spork.
