Sustainability
Since 2009, Shop Naturally has been ahead of the curve with eco friendly packaging choices. We have a commitment to not only use recyclable and biodegradable packing materials, but we go out out of way to gather as many packing materials as we can that have already been used once and give them a second life rather than buying something new that will only be used for a short period of time.
We reuse boxes
We have an amazing relationship with some local bottle shops near our warehouse who save their wine boxes for us to pack your orders in. We have been doing this since 2009 and we have used hundreds of thousands of them over this time instead of those boxes going off for recycling and us buying new ones.
If you live in a dry community or if a wine box arriving will cause you an issue in any way, please contact us immediately after you place your order and we will ensure we don't use a wine box to pack your order.
We reuse newspaper
Newspaper makes great void fill and the local retirement village near my home has dedicated collection bins for newspaper. Where it's appropriate, we use newspaper for void fill in our orders. Anything that could be damaged by newspaper print is wrapped in brown paper first.
If you have any allergies, please contact us immediately after you place your order and we will ensure our packers don't use it.
We only buy in paper & cardboard packaging
When our ‘second life’ packing materials aren’t suitable, we buy in plain brown boxes and paper for your packaging. We have a set of Ranpak machines in our facility that scrunch up and spit out paper pads and void fill and die cut Geami Wrap to replace traditional plastic bubble wrap.
