The best kids body wash for your family is one that matches your child’s age, ingredient preferences and usual way of bathing or showering. Rather than looking for a single product that suits every child, focus on the differences that will matter in your household.

Start with the cleansing ingredients

Body washes use cleansing ingredients, often called surfactants, to lift away dirt, sweat and everyday grime so they can be rinsed from the skin. Formulations vary, including the types of cleansers used and the other ingredients added to create the product’s texture, fragrance and feel.

Natural kids body wash isn’t one standard formulation, and a naturally derived cleanser isn’t automatically the right match for every child.
