This is the only completely plastic free way we know how to filter your drinking water. Every other solution has plastic in the fllter somewhere. Your box comes with 2 pure binchotan active charcoal water filter sticks. It's known as the higest quality activated purifying charcoal. Created from burning oak branches at extremely high heat and then rapidly cooling, they purify water and absorb toxins in the countless microscopic cavities in the charcoal. The porous qualities draw chemicals from tap water and soften the taste.

HOW TO USE - boil the stick for up to ten minutes and refresh the stick this way every 2 weeks. Place the stick in your water bottle (or a jug) and let it sit overnight or a minimum of 2 hours if that's all the time you have. Binchotan charcoal can also be used to trap odours and moisture in the air. With regular use, each stick will last around 3 months. At end of life, you can plant in your garden bed to stimulate healthy soil

Sol is an Australian brand who has our favourite glass water bottle as it has no plastic touching your water and it’s a generous size bottle. It also comes with a free bottle brush cleaner and a carry bag for storage and transport. The under side of the lid on this bottle is stainless steel and the outer cap is sustainable bamboo.
