Grants Toothpaste for Kids

Grants Kids Toothpaste

If you speak to any functional dentist, and quite a few mainstream ones, they will tell you that fluoride is a known gut irritant for children. Speak to any parent of a young child and they'll tell you how much toothpaste gets swallowed. After speaking to more than one functional dentist myself, they assure me that the art of brushing is far more important than whether there's fluoride in the toothpaste. We are certainly not here to sway your mind on the subject though. Please do your own research and decide what's right for you.

This kids natural toothpaste range comes in 2 berry flavours, sweet enough that the kids will want to brush their teeth but not so sweet that they'll want to sit there and eat the whole tube. ( we have heard of it happening with other brands )

  1. Grants Blueberry Burst Kids Toothpaste
  2. Grants Strawberry Surprise Kids Toothpaste

UPDATE: since this post was created, Grants have released a low fluoride version of the Blueberry Burst toothpaste for those parents who still wand fluoride in the toothpaste for their children but without the other ingredients found in mainstream toothpaste like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, which is an unnecessary foaming agent.

Grants Bamboo Toothbrushes

Bamboo toothbrushes are everywhere now. They are not all created equal though. Some brands are rough to the touch and others come in plastic packaging with 100% nylon bristles. The Grants of Australia bamboo toothbrushes are a little different. They are smooth and nice to have in the mouth. Where they really shine is their packaging and bristles. Hygiene is still very important when it comes to packaging dental products. These are packed in a cardboard box with a cornstarch bag for protection. They may look like they're in a plastic bag, but it's not plastic, and like BioBag garbage bags, they are compostable.

The bristles in these brushes are made from 62% castor bean oil and only 38% plastic. At end of life, you can pull them out with plyers and recycle or snap the head off so you can compost the handle.
