Ethique Shampoo Arrives #1 NZ comprehensive range

Ethique Shampoo has just arrived at Shop Naturally from New Zealand! You may recognise their colourful boxes already when you see them in our store.

Since 2012, Ethique has grown from a Kiwiland kitchen to an international beauty brand - making natural shampoo bars and beauty bars that are plant based and cruelty-free. Ethique is on a mission to rid the world of plastic waste, and help stop the billions of plastic shampoo and conditioner bottles thrown out every year around the world. By their estimations, Ethique has saved over 6 MILLION plastic bottles from winding up in landfill or our waterways. Not only are their shampoo bars, conditioner bars and beauty bars packaged and shipped in compostable cardboard made from certified sustainable resources, but their all-natural ingredients are concentrated so that one bar lasts many times longer than the same product that's been diluted with water and packed in a plastic container. An Ethique shampoo bar not only saves the waste of plastic but also saves water and your wallet too - after all, there's already water drizzling down from your shower nozzle every time you turn the taps on, and as such your shampoo bar will last you way longer than the liquid shampoo gurgling down the drain.

The ingredients that go into Ethique products are plant-based and vegan, such as coconut oil, cocoa butter and essential oils. Very little to no preservatives are used, and definitely no palm oil! And when their products are tested, they are only tested on willing humans. No animals are part of the testing process, and as such Ethique have been certified as cruelty-free by CCF, PETA and SAFE. Ethique also put their money where their mouth is, with 20% of all their profits going to worthy charities that are also fighting to preserve this big blue ball in space that we live on. Some of these charities include conservation, animal welfare and environmental groups, and some of Ethique's adopted animals include Mary the Orangutan (The Orangutan Project), Hector the Green Turtle (WWF Australia) and Langka the Tiger (the International Tiger Project).

What's in the Ethique range in Australia?

We have over 50 different products in the Ethique range that's available to purchase online from us in Australia. While they were always first known for creating a natural shampoo without a bottle, they certainly do more than that. What's the best way to store an Ethique shampoo bar?

In a perfect world, you would store any shampoo bar outside of the shower in between uses. Keeping them away from constant moisture and humidity when you're not using them every day will prolong their life. Keep the bar on a rack of some description and allow it to dry completely in between uses.
