Tints Of Nature is a UK based vegan, cruelty free & B-corp certified brand who provide a real alternative to supermarket and salon permanent hair dye. Tints of Nature give 100% grey coverage using over 75% certified organic ingredients and 95% natural ingredients. Like our natural nail polish category, these products do contain a limited amount of lab derived ingredients. They are made without ammonia, without parabens and without resorcinol and use the lowest levels of PPD to give the performance needed.

Does Tints Of Nature cover grey hair?

Absolutely. While henna hair dye is capable of giving grey coverage to many, it takes several hours and can require a red colour to go on first. The wait time for grey coverage once applied with Tints of Nature is just 40 minutes.

Is Tints of Nature 100% natural?

No. It is made using 95% natural ingredients. It is a vast improvement on supermarket and mainstream salon products, but there are low levels of PPD and phenoxyethanol to preserve. Tints of Nature recommend a skin sensitivity test 48 hours before applying colour. To do this, wash and dry a small area of skin and apply a small amount of colour gel. Allow to dry and leave on for 2 hours (you can cover it with a bandaid if necessary). Wash off after 2 hours. Watch for reactions for 48 hours. If you do react, wash off immediately and consult a pharmacists or doctor if necessary.

How do I apply Tints of Nature Hair Dye?

A sachet of o pre-colour charcoal shampoo is provided in the box. Shampoo and towel dry and comb it ready for application. Mix the contents of the colour fix bottle and the colour gel, shake and apply immediately. Cover with a shower cap and leave for 30 minutes, choose an extra 10 minutes if you have grey hair. Rinse, shampoo and condition

Can you mix Tints of Nature shades?

Yes. 10N + 8C will give a light ash blonde. 7R and 4RR will give a medium red copper. 8N + 4M will give a mahogany blonde. Experiment with mixing colour gels. Always ensure the ratio of colour gel to colourfix remains as per the instructions.

Can I lighten my shade with Tints of Nature?

Yes. You will need the Tints of Nature Lightener Kit to do this. You can also use this kit for highlighting and balayage.
