The first step in the process is not to formulate liquid spray cleaning products with water. You can get water out of your tap at home, so they sell dissolvable cleaning tablets that you simply place in the spray bottle and fill with water out of your own tap. Once you have the spray bottle, the next refill is just a small tablet, not a whole new bottle or shipping water around.
The second step is the bottle. While concentrated cleaning products aren’t new, this bottle is. Most brands either sell you a plastic bottle or encourage you to use one you already have, which is valid as well. Good Change Store is committed to the smallest amount of plastic possible, so their spray bottle is glass with a silicone bumper on the bottom. The nozzle and tube inside the bottle are still plastic, but it has now been significantly reduced. It’s impossible to make a spray bottle 100% plastic free.
