When the RedCycle scheme went under in Australia, we knew we had to be on a mission to reduce soft plastic use wherever possible and to expand our own home brand range to include as many naked products as possible. Our coconut scourer sponges come to us completely naked. No individual plastic bag, no biodegradable bag, no paper bands, boxes or swing tags either. They're so naked that sometimes the sponge bits have a few little brown spots on them from the coconut on the scourer next to it in the box (you can see it in our photos) because there's nothing separating the sponge from the next one. Absolute ZERO waste here. We're naked, natural and real !!!
This is a double sided scourer / sponge. The scourer side is made from coconut shell waste produced by the coconut oil industry and provides a superior clean than loofah scourers and the walnut scourers on the market. The sponge side is made from cellulose and the whole product is compostable / biodegradable at end of life.
