The Happy Sparrow Cotton Buds are made with bamboo stems and cotton tips. Both are 100% biodegradable, but it doesn't stop there.
When we got our own cotton buds made, the container was important to us. Of course it has to be plastic free, but it also has to be functional and useful past its life. They are packed in a sturdy cardboard tube that will stand up to the constant opening and closing without getting flimsy or tearing. When your'e done, you can use it as a storage tube for crafts, use the lid to propagate seeds, the bottom to grow a plant you can then put in the soil, or you can choose to recycle it or put it in your compost.
