The Hluru Mini Kalimba is a fun musical instrument that anyone can play as soon as they pick it up. It is tuned to the Pentatonic Scale of C. If you have no musical experience, all this means is that you can't play a wrong note. Anything you play will sound beautiful. The Pentatonic Scale is the scale of all the black notes on a piano - or for those with some musical knowledge, notes 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 of the major scale.
Your Hluru Mini Kalimba fits in the palm of your hand and is played with the thumbs, which is why they are sometimes called a Thumb Piano. It has 8 notes - from lowest to highest G4, A4, C5, D5, E5, G5, A5 & C6.

TONE - This kalimba has a soft and bright angelic tone with a reasonably low volume due to the size of the piece of maple that is resonating the sound. Touching it against other surfaces is a great way to experiment with louder volume and different tones.
MADE FROM - a solid piece of maple timber & stainless steel tines.
TUNING - C Pentatonic. This instrument will need tuning from time to time. Scan the QR code on the magnet or keyring provided for instructions.
