We start at mini snack pots through to square lunch boxes the size of a sandwich through to multi-layer bento box options. Where possible we have photos of the lunch boxes to show you what fits inside plus we have measurements on every lunch box in the store. There's plenty to choose from and we believe we have an option to fit everyone's lunch in. They're all dishwasher safe too, just remove the silicone seals if they have one so they don't get water trapped underneath.

Are stainless steel lunch boxes leak proof?

For years we have been reading reviews on the features mums want from their kids stainless steel lunch boxes and having a leakproof stainless steel lunch box with a removable silicone seal that really works is only something we've found in the last couple of years. So many brands tried and didn't get it right. We have 2 favourite brands for this. Green Essentials make a rectangular box with a removable divider and also a 5 compartment bento box with a leakproof lid. The second is our own home brand, The Happy Sparrow. We chose a 5 compartment bento box that is not only leakproof on the whole, but the lid has been designed with a full removable silicone seal that covers the whole lid, making every compartment leakproof.

How easy are the lids to get on and off?

This is a question we get asked a lot, especially for small hands. We find that the stainless steel lunch boxes with clips on them are a safe and easy option for small hands to open and close, but each child is different.
