What is FODMAP Friendly? Monash University developed a diet called The Low FODMAP Diet in response to helping to treat symptoms associated with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). They estimate 15% of the world’s population are affected by IBS and their diet identifies the sugars that aren’t properly absorbed by the gut.
The three main ingredients that would normally be found in broths & stocks that are high in FODMAPs are onion, garlic and celery. The products in this category don’t have these ingredients.
