Weleda Skin Food is no longer just one product, it's a family of products all using the same core botanicals but with a different base to suit different parts of the body. Loved the world over, this rich natural body lotion just got a whole lot more versatile with more products in the range. Weleda Skin Food is scented with natural essential oils and smells divine.

What products are available in the Weleda Skin Food range?

The original formula in the dark green tube is formulated for rough or dry skin, problem areas and can also be used as a face mask. It’s available in 2 different sizes + we often have 10ml mini tubes and free samples in our gifting program.

Weleda Skin Food Light is in the lighter green tube and absorbs quicker than the original formula. It’s suited for daily use on dry skin or just on problem areas if that’s all you need it for.

Body Butter and Body Lotion in the Weleda Skin Food range are both vegan formulas. Body Butter is packed in a glass jar and is a lightweight whipped version of Skin Food that uses shea and cocoa butters so it absorbs faster than the original. Smooth it over the skin and watch it melt right in, especially after showering. Body Lotion is nourishing like the original formula, but it spreads more readily when applied to the body. It’s the consistency you expect from a body lotion with the results of a Skin Food Family product.

Weleda Skin Food Lip Balm takes all the extracts used in the original and has them in a lip balm consistency natural oil and beeswax base to protect and soothe the lips. The small 8ml tub is perfectly sized to keep in your pocket or your purse like other lip balms are.

New to the Weleda Skin Food family in September 2023 are three products for the face. Weleda have ranked all their skin food products in a richness ranking to show you what skin types or conditions they work best for, and in turn, the richer they are, the longer they take to absorb.

The Nourishing Cleansing Balm is not only a daily facial cleanser, but it can wash off water soluble makeup and can be used as a face mask. There is also a Nourishing Day Cream and a Nourishing Night Cream that can be used every day and will absorb more easily in to the skin than the original or the light formulas.

Is Weleda Skin Food Vegan?

Skin Food (original), Skin Food Light and Skin Food Lip Balm all contain beeswax. The Body Lotion, Body Butter and the three new Skin Food Face products are all vegan.
