While the majority of natural toothpastes on the market are fluoride free, fluoride is certainly not the only ingredient that people want removed from toothpaste when stepping from mainstream to the natural space. Preservatives, sodium lauryl sulphate, parabens, propylene glycol, artificial sweeteners, even triclosan, can be found in mainstream toothpaste brands.
