We do allow bioplastic in this category. These are products that are made with a plant based raw material and are biodegradable or compostable at end of life yet look and behave like plastic. We also allow silicone in this category. We do understand that some people like to keep silicone out of their life too because it’s so difficult to recycle. We believe if you take care of your silicone products, especially silicone seals in lunch boxes and water bottles, they are still a viable option to rid the world of as many single use products as possible.
