Kansa massage has been used for centuries to holistically balance the doshas (Vata, pitta, kapha) by unblocking energy channels to improve the body's healing mechanism. This teak wood and bronze wand helps to increase circulation and encourages lymphatic drainage to detoxify and revitalize tired, lacklustre skin. Regular facial massage promotes collagen production for plumper, younger looking skin, de-puffs the eyes, firms the jawline and cheekbones, and relaxes the neck and shoulders.

Collagen production increase
Relaxes neck and shoulders
Unblocks energy channels

HOW TO USE -

Face Oil - Apply your chosen La Mav Face Oil to freshly cleansed skin. During the massage the wand should glide easily not drag the skin.

Forehead - Using gentle pressure, start in the area between your eyebrows, use swift, firm spiral motions up towards your hairline. Come back down where you started and move the wand slightly to the side and repeat until whole forehead has been massaged. Massage the wand in a circular motion from one side of the forehead to the other five times in a clockwise direction and then repeat five times in a counter clockwise direction.

Eye area - Use gentle, fluid motions to massage around each eye five times as illustrated.

Temples - Gentle circular motion on both sides helps to release tension in this area. Repeat five times on each side.

Around the lips and mouth - Firm strokes around the lips increase blood circulation and helps reduce fine lines in this area.

Cheeks - Start at the area under the cheekbone and use long firm upward and outward strokes towards the ears, pressing firmly against the muscles that tighten the jaw. Repeat five times on each side. Now focus on the Masseter muscle, which runs from the cheekbone to the lower jaw and is responsible for the motion of chewing (clenching your teeth can help you to find the right spot). Firm strokes and spiral massage will help to release tension in this typically tight jaw muscle.

Jawline - Start from the middle of the chin area and move the wand towards the ear on each side in a single stroke. For a deeper relaxation use the wand in a spiral motion.

Neck - To tighten the neck and further improve lymphatic drainage, hold your Kansa wand on the right side of your neck, just below the ear. Pressing firmly, drag the wand up and down five times, then repeat on the left side five times. To tone the area in front of the neck use firm upward strokes. Relax and tone the area behind your neck by placing the Kansa Wand at the beginning of the muscle directly behind your ear. Using circular motions slide up and down the muscle fives times. Do not press too hard, it should be relaxing and very comfortable. Repeat on the other side five times.

Décolletage - Apply La Mav Face Oil. Start from the middle as illustrated, move the wand towards the armpit massaging the muscle with firm pressure. Repeat five times. Then move higher and repeat until you have reached your collar bone. Place the Kansa Wand in the middle of your chest using firm circular motions and move towards your armpit. Then move higher and repeat. Continue until you have reached your collar bone. Repeat on the other side.

Lymphatic drainage - Finish the massage with outward sweeping strokes starting from the middle of the face, covering forehead, area around the eyes, cheeks, around lips and jaw. Then sweeping down the sides of the neck on each side.

Made with teak wood and bronze.
