Raw Nature Dry Shampoo
Raw Nature is a New Zealand brand who specialise in zero waste products. They have one product in their hair care range, and it’s the perfect pairing with a shampoo bar because they both reduce the amount of plastic used in hair care.
Raw Nature Dry Shampoo is the natural alternative to aerosol cans of dry shampoo that you find at the supermarket. These aerosol cans have warnings on them about needing to be used in a well ventilated space, and that inhaling the solvent and abusing that solvent can kill instantly. They contain alcohol denat, artificial fragrances and the solvents butane, isobutane and propane. And people are spraying them on their heads and inhaling the contents?
Vegan, cruelty free, plastic free and packed in a much smaller container so they’re a lot easier to travel with too. Dry shampoo is sprinkled into your hair around the scalp to absorb excess oil and lengthen the time between a full shampoo. There are 2 options available.
- Lavender, Orange and Rose Geranium Scented for light hair shades
- Cacao, Lime and Sweet Orange Scented for dark hair shades
The colour in the dark shade version is coloured naturally with cacao powder. If you have the lighter shade and it’s noticeable in your hair, you can add a bit of cacao powder at home to change the colour.
