The new design Lunchbots Thermals now come in 3 sizes (235ml and 350ml and this 470ml). The 470ml has a wider diameter and is actually shorter than the 350ml as you can see in our additional photographs. The 470ml is shaped more like a bowl than a tall flask which means it's ideally suited to soups and casseroles to each straight out of with a spoon. Remember, insulated flasks always perform better when they are filled, so buy your food jar to the size you'll fill to, and don't be tempted to have empty space in them. There's no plastic touching your food either, Lunchbots were the first brand to include stainless steel on the interior of their lid.
Use your Lunchbots Thermal to send your kids to school with heated up leftovers or soup. In summer, send them with fruit or yoghurt that stays cool until lunch time.
For optimum performance, preheat your food jar with boiling water. When preheated and filled, your food jar should retain approx. half of it's original heat at the end of the insulation period. Insulation period decreases below this if it's not preheated or completely filled or if you take the lid off during the insulation period.
