Flexible Foods Plant-Base Mince is soy free, gluten free, GMO free, additive free and jackfruit free. Each 100g pack makes 400g of mince which can then be used as a vegan meat replacement in your meal.
The mince is made on a base of Texturised Pea Protein, one of the most sustainable plant based proteins available. It is naturally high in protein and fibre and has a high water retention and versatile texture. For this reason, it makes 4x its initial weight in mince and can be formed in to patties, meatballs or used broken up as mince.
The Pea Protein is joined by Organic Sprouted Pea Fibre which is a highly digestable insoluble fibre to benefit digestion and gut health. A selection of natural spices, herbs and healthy fats round out the core ingredients along with iron and a touch of salt to form a nutritionally complete meat replacement.
Flexible Foods is shelf stable and does not require refrigeration. Simply store in the cupboard prior to use and make up when ready.
FLAVOUR - A TASTE OF INDIA combines the core ingredients with coconut cream, turmeric, coriander, fenugreek, cumin and chilli to give an Indian curry flavour boost to your meal.
SIZE - 100g dry mix makes up 400g of mince once prepared
HOW TO PREPARE - add 100g of dry ingredients to 400ml of water in a saucepan, place the lid on and heat on low for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove lid and cook for a further minute or until soft.
SERVING SUGGESTION - add onion, eggplant, cauliflower or broccoli and a tin of coconut cream for a creamy curry base. Serve with rice.
