Grin Palm Oil Free Toothpaste range 25% off launch deal
New Zealand dental company Grin have come in to the Australian market with a couple of little things that make them stand out above the pack. A lot of natural toothpaste on the market will contain small amounts of sustainable palm oil. Grin is a 100% palm oil free formula.
The next thing that mad them stand out for us was a new strengthening formula. Everyone has a whitening and a sensitive but a natural toothpaste with an ingredient specifically for strengthening the teeth isn't common. The main mineral our enamel is hydroxyapatite and this natural mineral is in the new Grin strengthening toothpaste.
What I really love though is their charcoal infused toothbrushes. Not everyone likes bamboo toothbrushes, but this doesn't mean you can't find something that's biodegradable. The grin toothbrushes are made from sustainable non-GMO corn starch. The head is larger than the average bamboo toothbrush. It's the extra width that gives is a great cleaning experience. The bristles are firmer too. One complaint we get a lot about bamboo toothbrushes is how soft the bristles are and how small the heads can be.
Like a bamboo toothbrush, the handle is biodegradable, so when you're done with it, just snap off the head or use plyers to pull out the nylon bristles. We are yet to find a decent toothbrush with biodegradable bristles. I'm sure there are people working on them.
