A world first in formulation, Kid Licks nail polish is so natural, it's edible! Don't worry, it's not formulated to be so sweet that they'll actually lick it off, but if they do, or they pop their little fingers in their mouth and a piece chips off, all they're eating is some organic fruit & veg, corn starch, citric acid and water. It's completely non-toxic, bio degradable and washes off with soapy water and a little bit of a scrub.

Goes on like regular polish

Kid Licks paints on like regular nail polish and takes a little longer to dry than a regular nail polish will. Allow around 5 minutes for this one to dry. Does it give the same kind of coverage as something like Kester Black (which is our next safest polish in a 10-Free formula)? No. Kid Licks is play makeup and it's literally made with food and water. Considering the ingredients, the consistency and coverage is AMAZING!

Kid Licks stays on really well for how it's made. It's the consistency of runny honey, and while it takes a little longer to dry than other polish, it does dry very nicely. Getting them to sit for their 5 minutes without touching anything will be your biggest achievement of the day!!! Once open, keep the polish in the fridge so it will last. When you're ready to paint again, let it sit out of the fridge for a few minutes to get to room temp and you're good to go.

Super easy to remove too

When it's time to remove Kid Licks, you don't need any harsh polish removers, just use some soapy water, something like the Dr Bronner's castile soap is perfect. If you want a week's worth of flawless colour and coverage, step up to the 10-Free Kester Black in our natural nail polish category and you'll shine all week, but Kid Licks isn't about a week of flawless coverage, it's kids makeup, designed with complete safety in mind. Paired with the No Nasties makeup, little ones can have the full 'makeup' experience from their hair to their face to their nails.

If you want to add a little perfume to their kit, the safest option is to pop over to our essential oils category, get some Lavender essential oil (we love the scent of the doTERRA one), a roller ball and some carrier oil (like the fractionated coconut oil or some jojoba oil) and pop a few drops of Lavender in the roller ball, fill the rest with the carrier oil and then they can pop a little on their wrists safely.

Suitable for ultra sensitive adults as well

Not just for the kids, if you're like me and you have some major chemical sensitivities, this is the first completely toxin free polish in our natural makeup range. Nail Polish is one of those products where the natural version still requires small amounts of synthetic ingredients to have them perform. If you want a little splash of colour for an evening out and you can't use 7-Free or 10-Free nail polish, you now have a choice.
