FAQ - please read above & below before enjoying your choice

Try before you buy - At Shop Naturally we're big believers in sampling new products before purchasing, especially for those customers with sensitivities. A small number of samples are given to us by suppliers, but it's never enough.

The majority of samples are made by us, at our expense. We take stock off our shelves, and squeeze or spoon a sample in to a 10ml clear sample pot that you can re-use at home for travel make-up pots. Visitors to our showroom can try multiple samples in store or take sample pots away to try at home.

Sample hygiene - We're big on ensuring hygiene standards are met, both in making up samples and in our showroom. No fingers in pots, no customers testing makeup anywhere but their hand. We use spatulas to take skin care out of pots and always wash and dry them between uses. You can safely walk in to our showroom or open a sample pot and feel safe knowing they haven't been contaminated by anyone.

You don't have what I'm after - We're expanding our range of samples all the time. If you want to try something we don't have listed, please ask us and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Why charge for samples? - We have a small charge on our samples for a couple of simple reasons:-

1. To cover the cost of the samples we make in-house (we don't profit from it, but we do need to cover our costs to offer such an extensive range).
2. It prevents people looking for 'anything free they can get their hands on' taking much needed samples away from genuine customers who have sensitivities and really need to try a product before they buy a full-size version.
   

Sample Size - If a sample is from a manufacturer, we'll declare the advertised sample size. If it's something we make in house, it will generally be enough for 1-2 uses, sometimes more, depending on the product. Our sample pots are 10ml clear sample pots, and for most samples, this will not be completely filled. For shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and similar products, they'll be close to full. For things like eyeshadow, there will be enough to see the colour and a couple of applications. These pots are great to re-use for travelling, so don't toss them when you're done.
