* Note: The Sports Cap 2.0 is not leak-proof. It has a silicone valve which allows this sports cap to have THE best water flow that Shop Naturally Healthy Households have ever tested, 3x greater than the original sports cap. If you bump the silicone valve, water can leak from it. Don't let these bottles roll around in a bag, especially with electronics. We recommend the use of a screw cap for transport.

Klean Kanteen™ Classic stainless steel drink bottles are made from high quality, 18/8, food-grade stainless steel that's totally free of BPA and other toxins. Because stainless steel is safe, there is no need to coat the inside of the bottle.

Food-grade stainless steel is used in the brewing, food and winemaking industries too. It's the material of choice because it doesn't retain flavour from any liquid you store in it. The large-mouth design fits ice cubes and makes cleaning your Klean Kanteen™ Classic as simple as scrubbing it with soap and water.

Wash by hand. Do not freeze. Do not put coloured Klean Kanteen's in the dishwasher. Treat them well, and they'll be with you for a lifetime.

The quality and the finish on these bottles is exceptional. Quality costs a little extra, but these bottles are definitely worth it!! The Sports 2.0 cap has THE best flow from a sports cap that we've tested. It's right up there with the bottles that have a straw to drink out of instead of a sports cap.

While the sports cap isn't completely water tight, it's pretty close. Water can sometimes leak out of the sports cap if you bump the silicone valve, so the sports cap is not suited to be transported in a bag. If you wish to carry it in a bag, we recommend you purchase the bottle with the loop cap. A sports cap can be purchased as an additional extra and can be swapped out depending on what you're using the bottle for.

Klean Kanteen drink bottles have a rounded bottom and a wider than normal opening so they're much easier clean than other stainless steel water bottles with hard angles on the bottom where germs and bacteria can grow.
