At last - a squeezable BPA-free water bottle perfect for hydration whilst cycling and exercising. Fits perfectly into most bike bottle cages, and features positive shut-off and Jet Valve™, a revolutionary self-sealing valve. All this results in a taste-free bottle with a high flow rate that lets you sip from any direction, or squirt to cool off on long rides. Eliminates the "bite open/hip-slap shut" steps, and spills on cycling apparel or frame.
Volume - 700ml
Diameter - 68mm
Colour - Clear / Purple
Material
BPA free custom-blended TruTaste™, which lets you taste your water, not your bottle. Also lined with HydroGuard™ to prevent bacteria build-up.
Tips for use
The lock-out shut off is for storage and transportation, but when exercising disabling this and relying on the Jet Valve™ will still stop water leaking out except when needed. This bottle can also be used for sports drinks and will not retain taste, but washing out after each use is strongly recommended.
Dishwasher and freezer safe.
Why BPA free drink bottles?
Numerous reports can be found on TV, in health magazines & on the internet about the dangers of BPA (BIsphenol A) in plastic storage bottles & containers. These reports indicate very real negative affects on animals (and in particular mice) during testing.
Traces of BPA in food & water could lead to the disruption of the developmental process, affect intelligence, affect a childs behaviour, affect learning abilities and in teens & adults, affect the reproductive system and fertility.
Whether this is all true or just a 'media beat up', is it really worth drinking out of plastic bottles that could be leaching BPA in to your water and each out of plastic containers that could be leaching BPA in to your food?

Personally Recommended
Our cycling tester took two of these bottles out whilst riding both time trials and triathlon, and had it in the saddle-mounted bottle cage behind the seat. Having a strong flow of water available with a simple squeeze was great, but being able to take a sip or a gulp and then slam it back into the holder without having to worry about the nozzle still being open was awesome!
Best of all, even riding over the bumpiest roads with the nozzle open was not a problem as the bottle ensured no water bounced out and NO WET BUM!
During rides, our bike rider had one bottle filled with Endura sports drink, and after a quick wash and rinse no trace of taste could be detected in the next refill of pure water.
Sure, you can buy cheap plastic water bottles from any cycle shop, but for water that doesn't taste like plastic, that comes out strong only when needed, and for a bottle that can have sports drink in one day and then pure water the next, this is the bottle to be riding with!
