Why BPA free drink bottles?
Numerous reports can be found on TV, in health magazines & on the internet about the dangers of BPA (BIsphenol A) in plastic storage bottles & containers. These reports indicate very real negative affects on animals (and in particular mice) during testing.
Traces of BPA in food & water could lead to the disruption of the developmental process, affect intelligence, affect a childs behaviour, affect learning abilities and in teens & adults, affect the reproductive system and fertility.
Whether this is all true or just a 'media beat up', is it really worth drinking out of plastic bottles that could be leaching BPA in to your water and each out of plastic containers that could be leaching BPA in to your food?

Personally Recommended
If you're a Camelbak user this bottle comes with the bite valve you're used to. The handle can be used to hook on a carabiner or just for hooking a finger through. This bottle is ideally suited to 'blokes' and is not necessarily one for the kids or delicate ladies as there is a 'bite & suck action' required to drink from this bottle. Water flow is ample, but it requires the use of some jaw muscles for the drinking action.
